What a little angel! I had so much fun photographing the cutest model I know, my lovely daughter! We had so much fun, me playing with the beautiful soft light we had today and she showing off as a cute little model.

Art in Bloom

I love this event!!! The Minneapolis Institute of Arts annual event hosts local artist and floral designers who create fantastic floral arrangements inspired by the art work in the museum. The sweet fragrance and bright colors remind us that spring is on it's way. It was much needed especially this year after a long winter. I was very fortunate to be invited by the MIA to photograph the arrangements and events that took place in the museum during Art in Bloom and had a bast!  

Not so long ago...

I was going through old photos today, I just love this one of my own tiny peanut! People always say how fast children grow and change but you will never understand it until you see it for yourself in your own children. That's really why photographs are so precious because as soon as this photo was taken she continued to change, every day different from the one before. How can we possibly remember all the small details, her soft pink skin, clear blue eyes, tiny curl of her fingers. It all lasts for just a quick moment and they grow and change right before your eyes. 

I have had many requests for these really fun playful prints. It started as a simple art project and it soon grew into something truly special and unique. I print these poster size, 24x30. It's that time of year! While I can't stand driving in snowy conditions and I wish winter was not five months long like it seems to be in Minnesota, it can make for really beautiful photos. So here are some beautiful winter pictures that remind us that winter is not all bad.
